Group Exercise Classes
All Western Racquet Club members are invited to take advantage of complimentary group exercise classes.
The TRX Suspension Trainer® is one of the most proven effective tools on the market! A fully modifiable workout system that leverages gravity and your bodyweight to perform hundreds of exercises. Easily regulate the intensity of each exercise by simply adjusting your body position to add or decrease resistance. TRX can provide an unstable environment that intensifies fat burning and core development! This type of training can benefit all fitness and age levels. Thursdays at 5:30pm
Body Pump is a barbell workout for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit - fast. Work all major muscle groups in just 55 minutes using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition. The instructor will coach you through scientifically-proven moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music helping you achieve much more than on your own! Tuesdays at 6am
Zumba Fitness is a fusion fitness dance workout that mixes low and high intensity Latin and Caribbean influenced dance moves for great calorie burning, cardio, muscle conditioning,balance, and flexibility. Warm up and cool down includes Tai Chi, standing Yoga postures, and slow paced calisthenics. Music is Afro-Latin based: Salsa, Electro-African, Bachata, Reggaeton, Cumbia, and Merengue. A smile, good sense of humor, sweat towel, and a water bottle is highly suggested. Tuesdays at 9am
Strong by Zumba
Stop counting the reps and start training to the beat. STRONG by Zumba combines body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio, and plyometric training moves synced to original music specifically designed to match each move. Every squat, lunge, and burpee is driven by the music, helping you make it to that last rep, and even five more. In a one-hour class you will burn calories while toning arms, legs, abs, and glutes. Plyometric or explosive moves like high knees, burpees, and jumping jacks are interchanged with isometric moves like lunges, squats, and kickboxing. Thursdays at 9am
Strength & Conditioning
Experience a total-body conditioning class focusing on balance, coordination, strength and endurance.
Mondays at 5:30pm, Saturdays at 8:30am
Everyone can practice YOGA regardless of age, experience or level of flexibility. For some, yoga is purely a physical pursuit, keeping the body toned, strong and flexible. For others, yoga becomes more of a mindset and a way of living. All levels welcome. Mondays at 9am, Wednesdays at 6pm, and Fridays at 9am
